Enkos at in-cosmetics Global 2019

The Enkos team had an incredible time at in-cosmetics Global 2019. It was the first time that Enkos has ever exhibited at a trade show and it feels like we’ve hit a major milestone.

In-cosmetics Global is the leading exhibition for personal care ingredients in the world and it is the central show where the majority of global ingredient suppliers, contract manufacturers and brands meet every year.

It was also the first time we revealed the new Enkos branding! We have been working hard behind the scenes to design a look that represents who we are and communicates it clearly to the world. We are delighted with the positive feedback from people visiting our stand.

Our managing director Lorna Radford is also Technical Advisor for in-cosmetics Global and helped to support the Formulation Lab and run the Formulation Challenge at the show. You might see Lorna appear in a number of official promotional videos for the show next year!

The Formulation Lab was fully booked, with sessions from leading ingredient suppliers demonstrating hands-on how to create innovative new formulations. The Formulation Lab sessions are free to attend for R&D professionals and each lab has capacity for up to 60 participants. We had a great time helping suppliers to ensure that their busy sessions ran smoothly.

Lorna set the Formulation Challenge teams the task of creating “a product for sleeping in” within just 90 minutes using a box of mystery ingredients. Many congratulations go to the winner Nuxe France and the runner-up Hormeta Switzerland for their innovative formulations.
