Are you a cosmetic scientist looking for an exciting new challenge?

We are looking for a bright, enthusiastic Innovation Chemist to join our growing team! This is a new role for an experienced formulator who will be responsible for researching and developing bespoke formulations for innovative brands within the personal care industry.

Enkos Developments is a specialist consultancy dedicated to designing unique products for beauty and personal care brands. We develop bespoke formulations across skin care, hair care, colour cosmetic and toiletry products based on a comprehensive understanding of our clients’ requirements, and provide guidance and support throughout the product development process.

At Enkos we have a scientific mind-set. Our technical knowledge and understanding enable us to develop high quality formulations that are safe, stable, effective and that delight consumers. We are very active within the industry and like to stay at the forefront of market trends, which helps us to create innovative and novel formulations.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative person who:

  • Has a strong scientific background, such as a Master’s degree in Chemistry.

  • Is confident in developing a wide variety of cosmetic formulations.

  • Has a good understanding of cosmetic regulations with up-to-date knowledge.

  • Has experience of successfully scaling up formulations from lab to production scale.

  • Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Is self-motivated and keen to take on responsibility.

  • Is interested in digging deeper to find scientific facts, not just taking information at surface value.

  • Enjoys both formulating in the lab and carrying out office-based research.
