Project Coordinator

Full-time, hybrid role (office and home working). Competitive salary and benefits package.

We are looking for a super-organised, self-motivated Project Coordinator who will relish the challenge of a fast paced and exciting role that covers an array of responsibilities across project management, team coordination and client support.

Enkos Developments is a consultancy that designs bespoke skincare and haircare formulations for the beauty and personal care markets. We work closely with our clients to understand their specific requirements and help them to create products that stand out from the crowd. We provide guidance and support throughout the product development process. Our strong technical knowledge and creative thinking enable us to develop high quality formulations that are safe, stable, effective and that delight consumers. Our formulations have won over 80 awards and counting!

We are a hard working team with a vision to create innovative products for skin and hair that can help to improve the wellbeing and health of end consumers. We are very active within the beauty industry, and we consistently maintain a pipeline of dynamic projects at all times. We are therefore looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Project Coordinator to join our wonderful team and help us to keep providing extremely high quality services and products to our clients.

This is a new role that offers an incredible opportunity to get involved with our company at all levels – from managing complex, detailed day-to-day project work; to building and maintaining long-lasting and collaborative relationships with our clients and suppliers; and supporting our long term business growth. You will be able to help shape and further grow a young company that is already making a big impact on the cosmetics industry.

Key responsibilities for this role will include:

  • Acting as project coordinator for all development projects, liaising with relevant parties throughout the process to deliver a successful result for both Enkos and our clients.

  • Collaborating closely with all team members to help plan project work, set priorities and manage resourcing.

  • Supporting all clients throughout their development journey with Enkos.

  • Serving as the point of contact for our clients for any matters relating to projects.

  • Building and maintaining long-lasting, collaborative relationships with our clients, suppliers and partners through regular communication.

  • Working together with our Commercial Manager on quotes and invoices for project work.

  • Supporting our Commercial Manager with responding to enquiries relating to both existing business and new opportunities.

  • Being a great ambassador for Enkos, proactively promoting our team and services, and helping to follow up on new leads and opportunities.

We are looking for a flexible, decisive and diligent person who:

  • Is a strong team player who takes on responsibility, supports their colleagues and appreciates collaborating with them.

  • Has outstanding communication skills (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills (is able to coordinate multiple stakeholders to successfully complete projects).

  • Enjoys organising and keeping track of lots of moving parts (e.g. somebody who always plans out their holidays in advance using Excel or other online organisational tools would probably suit this role).

  • Has the confidence to manage projects, prioritise and delegate tasks to team members.

  • Feels comfortable navigating and updating large spreadsheets of numerical data with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Pays excellent attention to detail, approaches tasks in a methodical, thorough and organised manner, and completes work to a high standard.

  • Has the ability to learn and understand complex (often technical) information quickly.

  • Has a pro-active and positive mindset to problem solving and finding solutions.

  • Is self-motivated and also good at motivating others to successfully deliver outstanding results, with both a short and long-term view.

  • Appreciates working in a fast-paced environment, and is able to plan work effectively to meet deadlines but also able to adapt quickly when priorities change.

  • Works well under pressure to accurately complete a wide variety of tasks across multiple projects every day.

Previous experience in client relationship management, product development and/or the cosmetics industry is preferable but not mandatory. The most important factor for us is finding the right personality who will keep our team and clients happy, organised and on track. Candidates must:

  • Be fully fluent in English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Have strong numerical literacy.

  • Have excellent proficiency with computing and typing, and be comfortable working with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

  • Be happy to commute to our modern office and lab in Leatherhead at least 3 times per week.

If you are looking for a role where you can quickly feel like an integral member of our team, and benefit from the exciting opportunities that Enkos can offer, then we want to hear from you!

Do you think you are the perfect person for this opportunity? Then please send your CV and a personalised cover letter (explaining who you are, why you are interested in the role, and what you think you can bring to Enkos) to recruitment@enkosdevelopments.com.

There is no specific application deadline, but we are looking to fill the role as soon as possible.

We know that applying for a new job can be pretty daunting, and job adverts often don’t give much away about the company itself or the culture of the team that you could be joining and spending a lot of your time with.

To help give you a better feel for who we are at Enkos, we have recorded a short video series, available on YouTube to tell you more about us:
